The sooner you book into these workshops the better for three reasons
1) You are guaranteed a place once you have booked and paid a deposit.
2) If the workshops fill up fast you have a better chance of getting
on it if you have booked early.
3) We need to know there are enough people on a workshop for it to run;
(we will run with 4 people).
Search Tips:
- Click the down arrow to the right of WorkShop Title. You will see a complete list of the varied workshops we have available to tempt you.
- If you want a workshop on a particular style, look through the Workshop
Type list, select your interest and click Search.
- If you have favourite tutors, click their name on the tutor list and
click Search. You will see all the workshops they are running.
- If you like to attend workshops on a particular day, select that day
of the week, then click Search.
Deposits:
There is a non-refundable deposit needed to hold your place, which will
be half the price of your course. If we have to cancel the workshop
your deposit will be refunded.
Balance:
The balance of the course is payable at the beginning of the workshop,
this applies to one day workshops and to multiple week courses.
Loyalty Card:
Once you have been to 4 workshops we will give you a customer loyalty
card, which entitles you to 10% off any fabrics and haberdashery sold
in the shop. This does not include ready-made items.
Tea & Coffee:
There is a supply of tea, coffee, hot chocolate, herbal teas and chilled
water free of charge. All we ask is that you wash your cups through
before you throw them away and leave your workstation in a clean and
tidy fashion.
Lunch:
Food is not included in the workshops and you will need to bring your
own provisions or money to buy some lunch when you have your lunch break.
Sewing machines:
A lot of these workshops will require a sewing machine. Please be aware
we are willing to carry your machines or heavy bags up the stairs. If
you come by car you can unload your items into the shop and then park
your car. We also have a couple of machines on site for students to
use during a workshop, however these are limited and will need to be
booked if you require the use of one for your workshop. It is better
to bring your own as a lot of your workshop time could be wasted getting
to grips with an unfamiliar machine.
We hope you enjoy your workshops and pass your good experiences on
to others. However, if you have a bad day or have ideas for improving
a workshop, please let us know and we will do our best to rectify the
situation.
