Although Digequest was only formed in the late summer of 2003, it has been in the making since 1994.
Back then, we were covering equestrian events but only able to send proof prints via post, which apart from being very time-consuming, became too expensive to really consider as a method of getting the photographs to competitors.
As circumstances would have it, a change of direction was going to have a massive effect on what we were doing both in terms of method and subject.
We moved into digital photography and began to cover motorsport events. Initially in the United Kingdom, but within two very short years we were covering not only the best British Rallying, but even the World Rally Championship.
All through this time, there was always the desire to come back to equestrian photography and in January 2003, the release of new digital cameras and photographic quality printers gave us the opportunity that we had been waiting for.
After contacting several organisers, we tested the new equipment and were delighted with not only the results, but the reaction from people that came to see what we had.
To be honest, we were overwhelmed with the response and had to seriously re-think how to deal with the logistics on-event.
We now think that we have the perfect solution for competitors and organisers alike.

We specialise in Cross-Country, Hunter Trials, Show Jumping, One Day Eventing, Carriage Driving and sponsored / Charity rides.
The high quality images that we are able to capture are displayed initially as proofs, and then as competitors request to see these images, we put them onto large LCD monitors so that the images can be viewed in detail.
If an order is placed, we are able to produce professional quality prints up to 10" x 8" within a matter of minutes. Subject to workload, you will be able to take your mounted prints away with you on the day. Larger sizes can be ordered and posted on within a few days.
This web site was also conceived as another means by which competitors can view and order images if they were not able to see them on event.
