DIGITISED to DVD

FOR £5

ANY BETAMAX TAPE (HOWEVER LONG) COPIED TO DIGITAL DVD FOR JUST £5

betamax video tape

Betamax (or Beta as it became widely known) was a video tape format introduced by SONY in May 1975. It preceded the VHS format by more than 2 years so it is really surprising that it did not totally dominate the World market, especially since it was widely regarded as being the BETTER format, having better picture and sound quality.

Other companies also produced BETAMAX machines - Sanyo and Toshiba were the main ones - and there were other manufacturers who went with Beta as their choice.

All were misguided as eventually, the VHS format (which had been introduced by JVC in October 1977) gained complete dominance and by 1988 Sony themselves conceded defeat when they started producing their own VHS recorders.

We can also compile shorter Betamax tapes on to DVD (it's still £5 per tape submitted)

Typical instructions are:-
