We watched the DVDs last evening and everyone is thrilled with what they have seen. We had several family members from far and wide with us and they all enjoyes seeing themselves as we all were back in the 1960s. If only our parents had still been alive to share the memories with us – the films were taken by them.
What you have done is to provide us with the most wonderful family archives which will be treasured for ever!

I must say we are absolutely mystified as to where the wedding had gone – I’d been cherishing that cine film for over 30years!
Still, we have identified the holiday the film did contain and you’ve done a great job with it – very clear pictures after all those years gone by! If we do find the wedding film we will definitely send it to you for converting.

Camcorder tapes to blu ray disk
Dear Cliff and Emily,
I thought I’d let you know that I disagree with what you say on your website about your blu-ray recordings. You say that there is no benefit in copying camcorder tapes (video) to blu-ray over and above copying to DVD.
I asked you to copy a camcorder tape to Blu-ray, and you also sent a free DVD of the same thing. When played in my Samsung blu-ray player to my Samsung HD TV I can notice a slight difference in the playing of the blu-ray and the DVD. I think that the blu-ray is slightly sharper.
What is certainly true Cliff, is that you are a true professional and I’m certain that whatever anyone asked you to do, you’d come through with flying colours!!
I’ll be sending my entire collection of 8mm camcorder tapes for you to copy to blu-rays.
