Oliva Town

Oliva is a typical Spanish town set on the coastal plain. There is a beautiful old town clustered around the base of a ruined castle full of small alleyways, old buildings, and pretty squares, the skyline enhanced by pretty blue domed churches. The house is situated in the old town, but a walk of a couple of minutes takes you to the newer parts of town with shops, bars and restaurants, and children’s play areas. A walk of 30 minutes takes you to Oliva Beach—more bars and a long expanse of beach running all the way to Denia to the south and Gandia to the north.

There are a range of local shops and supermarkets in town or a huge Carrefour supermarket only 4kms away. The restaurants range from local bars serving simple but fresh food, pizzas, tapas and salads to a Michelin listed restaurant in the port area.
