The driving force behind Progressive Audio is Dave Harvey. Now 46, he became a budding audiophile at 18. At 36, some 10 years ago, he started the business with specific aims: to provide customers with a friendly and pleasant environment to audition equipment that above all else plays music but, additionally would be reliable and have excellent build quality.
Facilities include demonstrations by appointment, home demonstrations, installations, mail order, repairs and servicing plus payment by cash/cheque, VISA and MasterCard, Credit is available by arrangement as are commission sales and part exchanges.
Advice is free and, more importantly impartial. Long term customer relationships are valued highly!

I have a good representative cross section of equipment on permanent demonstration from all of the listed manufacturers. I will always try to have available their very latest releases as soon as possible. Please telephone to check availability of equipment for a demonstration before arranging an appointment. This is especially important if you are travelling a long distance. Please also bear in mind that because equipment is very often on loan to a client it is not always available at very short notice. This happens infrequently so it is rarely a problem but it is always best to check.
